The Hindi crime thriller debuted on 15th May 2020 on Amazon Prime Video. The show is produced by Clean Slatz Filmz. Sudip Sharma is the creator of the show. Anushka Sharma and karnesh Sharma are the producers of the show. It is based on the 2010 novel, “The Story of my Assassins” by Tarun Tejpal.

There has been bo official confirmation about the second season of the show despite the popularity and success of the first season. But the show’s star, Jaydeep Ahlawat has hinted at a second season. He said that the show’s creator might already be working on a second season. He hopes that it happens and he will love to be a part of it and take the show forward. With the current situation, it might be a while before we get any confirmation. We might expect news in 2021.
The Plot Of The Show
The series revolves around a disillusioned cop who ends up landing a case of an assassination gone wrong. The show takes its inspiration from the ancient realms of Swarga Lok (Heaven), Dharti Lok (Earth), and Paatal Lok (Hell). The thought behind the show’s concept was to explore the three classes that exist in our society in the form of an investigative thriller drama. The protagonist of the show represents the earth, the victim represents heaven, and the suspects come from Paatal Lok.
The creator of the show said that it was always on his agenda to try and understand this country which kind of fascinates and disturbs him at the same time. According to him, there are multiple fault lines running across the country. It might be because of the economy, rural, class, and urban divide. We may deny it but it still exists.
The plot of the next season is not yet revealed. It will be interesting to see if the season will proceed with a new story or it will be continuing with the first part.
