Hey There! Thank you for reading my article. Your reviews and comments are most welcome.

Lucifer Season 5 is closer than you know. It is set to release on August 21st, 2020, on Netflix. Netflix released the trailer on July 13th, and we can’t keep our cool.

Right off the bat, we see the ending scene of Lucifer Season 4, where Chloe is begging Lucifer not to leave, but he leaves, telling her that he needs to go back to hell. Every relationship break is heart-wrenching, so that is what we expected from Chloe. Even though Lucifer thinks that she’ll be okay with out him, the truth is she’s not. She drowns herself in her work and goes out occasionally.  Her friends, Ella Lopez and Mazikeen, support her in drowning down her sorrows. However, the bad guys can’t resist harming Chloe Decker, and we see her apartment trashed. But, Lucifer comes to her rescue saying, “Hello Bad Guys.”

As the trailer moves forward, we see that it’s not Lucifer but his evil twin brother, Michael. He came to Earth to take his(Lucifer’s) life. So, he starts creating havoc in the name of Lucifer; hence, Lucifer has to descend the Earth and solve things up. The trailer made us truly desire more and more. The audience went wild after watching the trailer. They are smart. They knew that it wasn’t Lucifer when he said, “hello bad guys” instead of “hello detective.”

Lucifer is an American urban fantasy drama based on DC Comics’ character. Lucifer, played by Tom Ellis, abandons hell for Los Angeles and opens his nightclub and starts working as a consultant for LAPD, where he falls in love with a fellow detective, Chloe Decker (Lauren German). As seasons progressed, the acclaim for the show heightened as well, especially for Ellis’ role.

Netflix has expanded the original 10 episodes to solid 16 episodes. That is one happy news. Ellis confirmed that Netflix would release eight episodes first, followed by a little break and the final eight afterward. The cast includes Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Denis Haysbert, Kevin Alejandro, Leslie-Ann Brandt, Aimee Garcia, and Rachel Harris, among others.

As we set off to watch the new season, there is also news that there will be a Lucifer Season 6, and it will mark the ending of the show. #SaveLucifer movement played an important role in continuing production by Netflix. The names of all the episodes were also released, and people are invested a lot to see what every episode will have to offer.
