Mirzapur recently release it’s second season and fans have loved it. The show has received much love from the audience and the female cast of the show have been applauded by the audience. Although the action part show is male dominated, the female cast of the show is now getting on their own groove. In the first season of Mirzapur, which aired in the year 2018, we saw the death of many main characters. The show makers have stunned the audience in the first season and now, in Mirzapur season 2, the scenario was different with the return of Guddu Pandit, played by Ali Fazal.
The Female Cast Of Mirzapur Season 2:
Most parts of the show were filmed in the beautiful and attractive places of Uttar Pradesh like Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Sultanpur, Ghazipur, Lucknow, Raebareli, Gorakhpur and Varanasi. The show stars Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi. She is Kaleen Bhaiya or Akhandanand’s second wife. She is the daughter in law of Satyanand and is hence, the stepmother of Munna. Rasika has starred in many Bollywood movies along with the Indian German film Qissa. She has also starred in many soap operas. In the year 2010, she got married to the Indian actor Mukul Chadda. She is as manipulative in Mirzapur Season 2, as she was in season 1.
Another female lead is Harshita Gaur as Dimpy who also did not die in the previous season finale of Mirzapur. She rose to fame with her youth based-show Sadda Haq in which she played Sanyukta Agarwal. She starred as Bulbul in Kanpuriye, a Hotstar Special. One more female lead who is seen in action in Mirzapur Season 2 is Guddu and Bablu’s sister, Golu or Gajgamini Gupta. In the first episode of the new season, we are shown that much action will be involved with Golu wielding the gun.
The role of Golu is played by Shweta Tripathi. Shweta has played truly memorable roles like in the 2015 movie Masaan and 2017’s Haraamkhor. She is married to an actor and also rapper, Chaitanya Sharma since June 29, 2018. She has starred in several short movies too and also got the Zee Cine Awards For Best Actress In A Supporting Role for Masaan. She also starred in TVF Tripling. She also starred in Voot’s The Gone Game, as Amara Gujral. Her role Mirzapur Season 2 is also remarkable.
There are many other remarkable female leads in the show like Shriya Pilgaonkar too. But, she was killed off in the first season of the show.
