Fleabag Season 3: Is the show cancelled?

Must Read

The British black comedy television series “Fleabag” won’t be back with its third season as it looks for now. Created and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the show is based on her one-woman show first performed in 2013. It was originally produced by Two Brothers Pictures for the digital channel BBC Three in a co-production agreement with Amazon Studios.

Fleabag Season 3: Is it happening?

Well, the show has not made any promises for the third season. So we are not quite sure of what is going to come. In fact, the fans are discouraged from getting their hopes up about a return. When asked by BBC about the third season, the answer came in that there won’t be any further season maybe.

Waller-Bridge has said that “I have thought about it and there isn’t going to be one. This is it – this is the final curtain.”

Therefore, it is somehow safe to assume that the show is not going to have any further seasons ahead. But, if some possible announcements are made in the future about it, we will definitely keep you updated.

Fleabag Season 3: What will be the story?

As we mentioned out earlier that the show is based upon the 2013 Edinburgh Festival Fringe one-woman play of the same name which won a Fringe First Award. The initial idea of the character of Fleabag came from challenge by a friend, where Waller-Bridge was given the task of creating a sketch for a 10-minute section in a stand-up storytelling night.

The series received many awards and nominations and was widely popular across the globe. Though, for now, we don’t have any other information about the third season of the show. We will keep you updated about things.
