The coronavirus pandemic has destroyed everything. Taking the lives of millions, drowning so many businesses, the virus has given a new definition to destruction. Every individual on this planet now wants a cure for this disease. Every country on this planet is busy in finding the cure for this disease. Many countries are developing and stockpiling vaccines. Much success has also been achieved in the development of these vaccines. What started off in China has now reached the whole world. The entire world is working from their homes. Gradually people are trying to recover from what we call the COVID-19 pandemic. Apollo Hospitals has got great news for us.
The Feat Achieve By Apollo Hospitals :
On 15th October, Apollo Hospitals announced that it has furnished its clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies with the stockpile to give 1 million vaccines each day. As and when the distribution of vaccine is allowed, the plan will be implemented. This is indeed a great announcement by them.
Vaccination of around one million people is actually a very big task. So, we hope that they succeed in their noble cause. Stopping deaths due to the coronavirus is what is the need of the hour. The only way is vaccination. Executive Vice Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals, Shobana Kamineni claims :
“About 30 percent of Indians are 30 mins away from an Apollo facility.” She adds, “If the government allows the private sector to purchase (vaccine), we would be more than willing to buy the vaccine from manufacturers to distribute and administer the vaccine.”
Apollo Hospitals is India’s largest medicare enterprise. It is private in nature but, it has tested over 2,50,000 patients and has treated over 75,000. This is a great number that the enterprise has achieved. With the new stats out, as of the month of October, India is experiencing about 60,000 cases of Covid per day. This a very high number. As for Covid positive, there are 7.24 million cases that have been tested. Also, the number of deaths until now is around 110,586.
As for vaccines, over 9 of them have entered the late testing phase of the clinical trials. Companies like Bharat Biotech, Zydus Cadila, and Serum Institute of India are progressing in India with the development of the antivirus. As soon as the antivirus is released, we can hope that Apollo Hospitals is able to fulfill the promise it has given. Thus, we can expect that with around one million vaccines given out per day, the Covid can be tackled.
