More About The Three Sisters :
The three sisters were sleeping inside their room when the attacker entered their room. He entered home through the terrace and did this sinful act of throwing acid. The father rushed to their room on hearing their cries to see that this happened. The attacker had escaped by that time.
The oldest sister, aged 17, has 30% injuries, middle sister, aged 12, has 20% burns. While the youngest has 5-7% burns who is 8 years old. People have admitted them to a government hospital in Gonda. The only earner of the family, their father irons clothes in the village for a living.
The oldest sister having the maximum burns has her wedding already fixed. The wedding was about to take place soon in near future. Her face is all burnt due to an acid attack. “I don’t know how the wedding will happen now,” their father said. The police are speaking to the family of the three sisters along with the neighbors. A dog squad is also active in the area to search for any possible thing.
The senior police officer, Sailesh Kumar Pandey talked to reporters recently. “The family is not naming any suspects who may have thrown the acid. Therefore, the investigation procedure is being done on an FIR against unknown persons. Although, we suspect that a known person is involved in this whole case and has some personal rivalry. Let’s see what we can find out.”
Politics has to be involved as it is Uttar Pradesh and Dalits are victims. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra hit out at the BJP government and CM, Yogi Adityanath over the incident. Priyanka posted on twitter recently. She tweeted, “The politically motivated narrative of UP government of justifying and protecting perpetrators of crimes against women has only increased the motivation of criminals across the state.”
This incident is a question on the crime rate of the state and let’s see how the UP police are going to handle it. Though the three sisters are alive, it’s so shameful.
