North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un has grown to become noticeably emotional during his week-end navy parade speech as he praised the troops for his efforts and apologized to the people for failing to change their lives.

During Saturday’s speech during the celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of its ruling Employees’ Get together, Kim thanked the 1,000 troops gathered for responding to the current damaging storms and for helping to prevent coronavirus outbreaks within the nation.

In the video footage edited and launched by the state television station, Kim appeared tearful and seemed to choke up at one level.

Kim said he was grateful that not a single North Korean man had been infected with the virus, and said that U.S. and South Korean officers had previously had strong doubts about it.

The effects of anti-coronavirus initiatives, global sanctions, and many other typhoons mixed to keep the federal government from seeking guarantees to better the lives of people, Kim said.

“My diligence and honesty have not been enough to rid our individuals of the hardships of their lives, “he said. “Our individuals, however, have always believed and fully trusted me, and have embraced my decision and will, no matter what.”

North Korea’s financial system, already severely restricted by global sanctions imposed on its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, has been hit hard because the nation has shut down almost all border visitors in an effort to prevent a coronavirus outbreak.

The United Nations has pointed out that as much as 40 percent of the world face food shortages, which could have been intensified by the severe summer season of flooding and typhoons.

In a scene frequent to many such occasions in North Korea, most of the viewers also had tears streaming down their faces.
