Mamata government blames BJP

On Sunday, October 11, 2020, the Mamata government specifically said that there is one political party that is creating “communal color to the subject in narrow partisan interest”. The tweets followed from the official authorities, in which they attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party. The department rigorously tries to state that there is peace within the state, however, someone else is trying to infiltrate that.

It also spoke on the delegation which Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee Mannder Singh Sirsa has started to get justice for Balwinder Singh. People from all over the country are protesting the happening towards the Sikh brother.

Jathedar at Akal Takht, Giani Harpreet Singh also stated, “Let her (Mamata) continue her fight but this man should not be made a target.”

The pressure on the government due to the rising protests made it write a series of tweets. However, this only shifts the blame from one place to another. It does not justify the act nor puts forward any apology for the sentiments hurt.

The police further explaining its argument of Balwinder Singh carrying a gun stated the gun’s information. The police said that the gun had its license registered from district magistrate in Jammu and Kashmir. They further added that it was recently renewed until 2021. Balwinder Singh is a personal security officer of BJP leader Priyanshu Pandey. Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga also complained to Bengal’s chief secretary. The letter asked the body to look into the matter and send a report within 15 days. The BJP is asking for a personal accountability letter addressed straight from the Mamata government, especially, herself.
