ABC recently announced that General Hospital would be back with new episodes on Monday, August 3, 2020. Just like other shows, the production of the show shut down in March, due to COVID-19. Now, that the entertainment industry is up and running again, GH will be back with original episodes. Since late May, the show has been airing the repeats. The shooting has started on July 22.

General Hospital is an American daytime medical drama, listed in Guinness World Records as the longest-running American soap opera in production and the second-longest-running show after Guiding Light.
GH outlines murder, mob wars, and mansions in Port Charles, upstate New York. Family drama remains the focal point of the show, exhibiting the quarreling but lovable Quartermaines, the rebellious Corinthos family, and the historic Spencer clan. Season 57’s cast includes Donnell Turner, Briana Henry, Roger Howarth, Marcus Coloma, Genie Francis, Laura Wright, Maurice Benard, Chad Duell, Finola Hughes, Maura West, among other legendary artists. The cast is excited to be back in action. Inga Cadranel, who plays Harmony Miller and Finola Hughes, who plays Anna Devane, took to Instagram, to show their contentment, and look, respectively.
We can speculate that, now, every show will jump on to touch the recent happenings, like Black Lives Matter movement, and quarantine. Maybe, we’ll see these concepts displayed creatively in the show. But, we have the spoilers for the episodes airing from August 3 to August 7.
