Ever since the conclusion of the third season, fans have been left wanting for more after the cancelation of “Designated Survivor Season 4”. It is a mystery as to why the series was not renewed after a successful and well-loved season 3.

The Plot of the Series
The plot follows an American politician, Tom Kirkman. He is named as the designated survivor for the State of the Union address. He suddenly ascends from the position of U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to President of the United States after an explosion kills everyone ahead of him in the presidential line of succession.
The fourth season if ever made might follow the story of Kirkman’s opposition to his presidential position. It may focus on Kirkman’s morals and circumstances, and also the significant consequences of his actions. The series may also focus on Kirkman’s son Leo Kirkman.
