Let’s take a look at the newest updates of our recent Anime in October. Strike Witches is a media combination originally created by Fumikane Shimada through a series of magazine illustration columns. Since then, the franchise has been adapted to many light novels, manga and anime films, and different video games. The series revolves around teenage girls who use aerial fighting devices attached to their hips. Let’s see below what this Anime has for us.
During the Second World War, the world was attacked by a sinister alien entity known as the Neuroi. Neuroi assumes aircraft-like shapes and creates a corrosive miasma. The world’s military forces have agreed to form an alliance with other armies to combat the invasion of Neuroi instead of battling each other. Standard guns have little impact on Neuroi ‘s technology. The army agreed to call the Witches because their schemes were not working.

The witch is a teenage girl who has the strength of sorcery and is capable of battling against the Neuroi. The Witches, who are inspired by popular real-life pilots, grow ears and tails of animals as they use their magic. Special devices such as Striker Units may be used. Strike Units feature prototypes based on real-life aircraft to fly across the sky and improve the power of their supernatural powers during the battle.
Suomus is an independent volunteer, Aerial Squadron, that focuses on a dog fighter named Tomoko Anabuki. The young girl is Yoshika Miyafuji, a girl from the Fuso Kingdom who meets Strike Witches to investigate her father’s murder. She also needs to help combat Neuroi. The brave Witches are teaming up with another Fuso girl named Hikari Karibuchi. She joins Valiant Witches to replace her wounded sister Takami. She’s going to fight in her place.
