Indian Army deserves all our salutes and regards. The soldiers always ensure that they give their best without any regard for their comfort so that we can live peacefully at our homes. In the past few months, the situation for the Indian army has not been the best. The tensions rising with China’s Liberal Army along with its unilateral acts, the Indian Army has been alerted. The majors and the Defence Minister have talked with the country repeatedly to ensure the safety of the soldiers. The border areas are never peaceful, so amidst the approaching winter in Eastern Ladakh, our army is again stocking itself for the harrowing winter.
Indian Army prepares for the biggest logistics operation
In the decades, the army is preparing itself for the biggest operation. This is why the army has stocked itself with tanks, heavy ammunition, weaponry, fuel, food, and essential commodities to last them the winter. These vehicles include T-90, T-92 tanks, and infantry combat vehicles. This will also serve them readiness in combat during the approaching months. The soldiers have been practicing vigorously since July. Hence, the entire planning is overseen by Chief of Army Staff Gen MM Naravane and a group of ten commanders.
The warriors are bracing themselves up in Eastern Ladakh, specifically in Chushul and Demchock areas. All the communication equipment, heaters, and other supplies will reach a height of over 16,000 feet. The clothes and essential goods came all the way from Europe to sustain them better. A senior military official told PTI, “By far it is the biggest logistics operation that has been implemented in Ladakh post-Independence. Its scale is humongous.”

About the operation and the preparation
The Indian Army has been planning the operation and the supplies stock since LAC Row started. The Indian Air Force will also assist them in the forward air bases along the Line of Actual Control. This will serve them full alteration. In late August, 2020, the conditions across the border areas stayed worsening. On September 21, Corps Commander talked to his counterpart about the same. However, seeing that the ties can worsen up further, the Indian Army decided to occupy at least 20 strategic heights around Pangong Lake. Subsequently, this gave them a better advantage.
The disengagement process also did not see a complete follow-up. The temperature in which our soldiers will stay for us is reportedly in the range of -5 degrees Celsius and -25 degrees Celsius between October and January. The operation will explain how far the talks of peace between India and China have actually proceeded. The coming months will decide the actual fate of the Line of Actual Control Row.
