By adding more and more devices, the functionality of the Amazon Sidewalk will increase. Amazon says, “When more neighbors participate, the network becomes even stronger”.
One of the major differences between Sidewalk and Wifi will be its dependency over location tracking. Amazon had previously demonstrated that Sidewalk which uses Ring Fetch Devices. - and letting devices remain online and up to date even outside. home Wi-Fi range.
Additionally, in case your wifi stops working, it will keep you notified about all the motions. And in case you outside the range of your wifi zone, it will keep you connected.
