The fantasy television series “Shadow and Bone” is coming up on the streaming giant Netflix. Developed by Eric Heisserer and 21 Laps Entertainment for Netflix the show is going to be something different. It is based on overlapping book series “Shadow and Bone” and “Six of Crows” by Leigh Bardugo.

Shadow and Bone: When is the release happening?
The show was assumed to be released later this year. But things are not going smoothly for anything. With the corona virus pandemic engulfing the world it’s looking more likely that we will have to wait until 2021 to see the first season of the show.
The show did finish principal photography in February 2020 before everything shut down. But the post-production still needs to be done, according to Bardugo. Hopefully, the Netflix original series will come out sooner rather than later, so we all have something new to watch to make this pandemic a bit bearable.
If it is not pushed back too much and post-production is done on time, we could see it’s before 2021. We will keep you updated about things if something official comes up.
