South Side Season 2 will see the light of the day soon. South Side is an American sitcom comedy TV series from the creators Diallo Riddle, Bashir Salahuddin, and Sultan Salahuddin. The show premiered on Comedy Central on July 24, 2019. South Side centers on “a pair of newly minted community college graduates and small-time hustlers who are always cooking up some petty scheme- from black market Viagra to street corner popcorn- with an eye toward upward mobility.”
The show garnered a rating of 7.3 on IMDb and 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The show is crazy funny with out of the box witty anecdotes, you don’t see them coming. A viewer explained it by writing, “The jokes come a lot fast. When will South Side Season 2 premiere?
Comedy Central renewed the show for a second season in August 2019. This time, the platform is not going to be on Comedy Central, but on HBO Max. The series will now be termed ‘Max Original‘. We will have 10 episodes in South Side Season 2, just like the first season. The filming has not started. However, co-creator Bashir Salahuddin said that if they had to shoot in winter, they are down for it. Hence, a wait of almost a year does not sound asinine.

The plot details of South Side Season 2
About the coming season, Salahuddin told THR, “The characters you’ve loved so far, you’ll see again. We’ve tried to turn the city of Chicago into like Springfield from the Simpsons, where you have all these great characters that populate the world.” So, clearly, we can expect to see articulated stories of these characters which make us love them even more.
About the plot, we know that this time as well, we will see amazing inspirational incidents. There will be an episode around Bud Billiken Parade, so that will mark another fun experience in the show. The first season will also premiere on HBO Max, so to those who haven’t watched it, may watch the glory there.
