A viewer who loved the first season wrote, “They did a wonderful job of allowing each to have had a realistic growth arc over a 14 year period, which allowed for the aging process to make perfect sense.”
When will Star Trek: Picard Season 2 premiere?
The second, as well as a third season, had their green card early on, before the first season’s debut. Due to an early renewal, we could have gotten Star Trek: Picard Season 2 early. However, Coronavirus happened, and this is why we can’t have it that sooner. The production was supposed to go in production in September, however, there is still no word on it. Considering the delays posed in the industry, we can expect to see a second season in late 2021 or 2022.

In the second season, we will see the following faces to reprise their respective roles. We will see Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard, Allison Pill as Agnes Jurati, Isa Briones as Dahj, and Soji Asha. We will also likely see Evan Evagora as Elnor, Michelle Hurd in the role of Rafaella ‘Raffi’ Musiker, and Harry Treadaway as Narek.

What will the story of Star Trek: Picard Season 2?
Star Trek: Picard Season 2 story will extend from the first season. The showrunners are reportedly trying their best not to repeat the same mistakes they did during the first season. At the end of the first season, we saw Picard getting rid of the group of synthetics who wanted to create a race of mechanical ‘higher beings‘. These being may also return in a second season. the focus will definitely be Picard but also there will be much emphasis on other characters as well.
Co-creator Michael Chabon said, “It’s about letting people’s identities emerge. I think we’ll have more time for that in the second season than we’ve had in the first season.” The makers are surely focusing a lot on creating the personal attachment that Star Trek has with its fans. So, the second season is better, adventurous, and personal. That sounds exactly like the package we expect from the Star Trek makers.
